Genotropin 12 mg is a form of human growth hormone important for the growth of bones and muscles.

Genotropin is use to treat growth failure in children and adults who lack natural growth hormone. This includes people with short stature due to Noonan syndrome, Turner syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, short stature at birth with no catch-up growth, and other causes.

If you are pregnant should not use Genotropin 12 mg Injection. Before taking Genotropin injection consult your doctor, in case of aged people. Avoid Genotropin gh if you are having Hypersensivity to the drug. Genotropin 12 mg pen Injection should not take if you are pregnant.

Genotropin 12mg Solution for Injection is a medicine that is identical to the main form of the naturally occurring human growth hormone. It is use to treat children with growth failure due to inadequate secretion of endogenous growth hormone (GH). It is use to treat short stature in adults also.

Genotropin 12mg Solution for Injection is give as an injection into the skin under the supervision of a doctor. Your doctor or nurse will help you to learn the exact method of self-administration. You should receive appropriate training and instructions from the physician before using it. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribe for you.

The most common side effects of this medicine include injection site reaction, headache, and rash. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have ever had diabetes, or have a thyroid disorder. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You may ask for regular monitoring of blood sugar levels, kidney function and level of growth hormone before and during the treatment.

• If growth plates have closed in children, please do not use Growth hormone to increase height.
• Growth hormone should not used in patients with diabetes who have certain types of diabetic retinopathy (eye problems).
•  Patients who have recently diagnose with cancer, or who are treat for cancer. Growth hormone deficiency can cause by brain tumors. So, the presence of these brain tumors should rule out before treatment is start. Growth hormone should not use if it is show that a previous brain tumor has come back or is getting larger.
• Patients who are critically ill because of surgery, trauma, or respiratory failure.
• Genotropin 12 mg should not used by patients who have had an allergy or bad reaction to Somatropin or any of the other ingredients in Genotropin. In the event of an allergic reaction, seek prompt medical attention.
• Some patients have developed diabetes mellitus while taking Genotropin. Dosage of diabetes medicines may need to adjust during growth hormone treatment. Patients should watch carefully if growth hormone is give along with glucocorticoid therapy and/or other drugs that are process by the body in the same way.

VOMEC Injection is indicated for the treatment of the following parasitic infections and infestations in swine:

Gastrointestinal roundworms: Large roundworms, Ascaris suum (adults and L4); Red stomach worm, Hyostrongylus rubidus (adults and L4); Nodular worm, Oesophagostomum spp. (adults and L4); Threadworm, Strongyloides ransomi (adults and somatic larvae)
Somatic Threadworm Larvae (Strongyloides ransomi). Sows must be treated at least seven days before farrowing to prevent infection of piglets.
Lungworm: Metastrongylus spp. (adults)
Lice: Haematopinus suis 
Mites: Sarcoptes scabiei var. suis

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION – SWINE: 

The recommended dose level is 1 mL of IVOMEC^® Injection per 33 kg of body weight (300 µg of ivermectin per kg of body weight). The recommended route of administration is by subcutaneous injection in the neck. 

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT PROGRAM 

I. Breeding Animals:At the time of initiating any parasite control program it is important to treat all breeding animals in the herd. After the initial treatment, use IVOMEC^® Injection regularly as follows:

Sows Treat prior to farrowing, preferably 7-14 days before, to minimize infection of piglets.

Gilts Treat 7-14 days prior to breeding. Treat 7-14 days prior to farrowing.

200 mL collapsible pack, multiple doses (weight dependent)
